Privacy
This policy explains what information Next Rewind collects, how we use it, and the choices you have about it. We try to keep this in plain language; if anything is unclear, write to us.
Last updated: TBD before launch.
What we collect
Anonymous traffic data. Like most sites, we collect standard server logs and analytics about pages viewed, browser type, referring source, and approximate region. This is used to understand which posts are working and to improve the site.
Newsletter signups. Our newsletter is hosted on Substack. When you subscribe, your email address is provided to Substack and stored on their systems under their privacy policy. Next Rewind does not maintain a separate subscriber database.
Affiliate tracking. When you click an outbound buy link, the destination retailer (and the affiliate network in between) may set cookies or use other tracking mechanisms to attribute the click. This happens on the retailer's side; we do not control it.
What we don't collect
- We do not require an account to read the site.
- We do not collect or store payment information — all purchases happen on retailer sites.
- We do not sell, rent, or share subscriber lists with third parties.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies: those required by analytics, and those set by affiliate networks at the moment of an outbound click. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or behavioral retargeting.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. You can block cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect affiliate tracking but will not affect your ability to read the site.
To request deletion of any personal information we hold about you, write to privacy@nextrewind.example.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page. The "last updated" date above always reflects the most recent revision.
